Thanksgiving, 2003 - We joined Sam's family and Kate and Karen's mom for the first Thanksgiving at Kate and Sam's new home in West Sacramento. Good food, good wine, and dog fights. It just doesn't get any better. Thanksgiving 2003

Desert Road Trip - April 14-21,
2003; We took the kids on a week long driving trip, camping and staying
in hotels along the way. Our trip had stop overs at the Superstition Mountains,
Tucson Desert Museum, and Zion National Park.

a geat New Year's week, with a visit to Kate and Sam in Davis, two trips
to the Sierras to play in the snow, and a wicked party at Jen and Travis'

2002; Karen and I went to the lovely Melia Hotel, beachside in Cabo San
Lucas for our second wedding anniversary.

Natural Bridges State Park- November
3, 2002; Karen, Shelby and Cooper pose for the camera at Natural
Bridges State Park in Santa Cruz. This park has a lush grove of Eycalyptus
trees that serve as a resting stop for hundreds of thousands of Monarch
butteflies each fall.

Pinnacles Camping Trip with the Ryans
- May 4-5, 2002; Pinnacles National Monument has a great family campground
with wonderful hiking trails close by. Along with our neighbors, the Ryans,
we spent a great weekend camping. Our chosen hike navigated through a
series of massive boulders forming large caves. Karen and Terry had a
lot of fun with tequila and spinning poi. It was a wonderful weekend getaway.

Baja Mexico Camping Trip - April
1-5, 2002; We went camping in Baja Mexcio, on the shores of the Sea Of
Cortez. For four nights we camped in the shade of a great open palapas,
with open desert to our back and warm sea at our feet.
