Felix the cat- In November 2002 we lost our sweet little Felix to a car on 7th. He would taunt a squirrel in our back yard, trying to hunt and catch him at every opportunity. The day we buried Felix in the graden, that crazy squirrel ran through our feet, looked into the hole and then scurried off, as if it were checking to be sure that annoying little cat was indeed gone. He is, and we miss him dearly. Felix

Pepper- She was fluffy old lady cat, that the kids grew up with. She found the family when they lived on Dougmar and moved with us to Eddy Lane. She came down with cancer and we had her put to sleep in March of 2002. She was loved and is missed by everyone in the house. Pepper

Lemonade Stand- In March 2001, Cooper, Kylie
and Shelby made lemonade from the fresh Meyer lemons on trees around our
house. They set-up a stand in an old red wagon. They pulled it down to
the Jose Ave. Park to make a little spending money. I was a mean dad,
I made them buy the sugar and rent the wagon. One of their partners just
sat around. The other went and played on the swings. They drank all their
profits. Small business at it's best. ;-) Lemonade
